The Sanford-Springvale Historical Society is proud to partner with the Sweat-Morin Homestead and invite you to their grand opening event on July 19. Please join us in celebrating the culmination of a two-and-a-half-year restoration project — and get a glimpse of how early settlers lived in Sanford just after the American Revolution!
Tour the restored 1786 home of Reverend Moses Sweat, the first Congregational minister of Sanford.
Explore the restored barn and cemetery.
Walk the trails on the Mousam Way Land Trust’s Morin Preserve.
